FULL DESCRIPTION
A very good early English oak refectory table with most attractive colour, wonderful fluted column supports and substantial pegged trestle feet with single long pegged stretcher.

The top formed of three huge oak boards, cleated at ends.

The table is extremely large, easily seating 10 people, and dates from c. 1680

The bottoms of the trestle feet show the age, having worn down somewhat, and there is a little natural shrinkage to the cleats at the ends of the top as is entirely normal and right for a 340 year old table. Minor bruises, marks and a couple of small repairs consistent with age and use and adding to the tables great charm and character.
