A fine quality George II silver table in solid mahogany and made in around 1750.

The dished top with re-entrant corners over a deep cross-banded frieze with single original oak lined drawer.

The drawer with iron lock which appears to be original, period engraved escutcheon and period brass knob handles with no signs of earlier brasswear.

The frieze with a lovely flared moulding extending into superbly carved lappets at each knee, the legs with slight cabriole and very slender ankles terminating in dished pad feet.

In showroom condition, original timbers throughout with some professional 19th century restorations, not visible, and repolished many years ago.
