About Us

For over 40 years I have worked with antiques. Like my parents and grandparents I have a genuine deep rooted passion for antique furniture and I specialise in 17th and 18th Century British and European furniture with a particular interest in early English walnut.

Our old family name was Webberley and in the 18th & 19th centuries many men in the family worked as cabinet makers and coach builders. Henry Webberley built one of Queen Victoria's carriages and it is still used by the British Royal Family today. When I was able to open my first shop it felt right that it should carry the family name.

In the last fifteen years I have also built a successful online business - developing excellent relationships with knowledgeable buyers and first time collectors around the World. Many of my clients return to buy Webberley pieces time and time again and I regularly source fine antiques for my customers.

I love my work and aim for my pieces to exceed your expectations by: selling fine quality genuine antiques usually from private homes; providing detailed accurate descriptions; offering superb value for money; giving a personal and friendly service.
